THE WAR OF MINE

Después de los fantásticos artículos que, por estricta ordenación cronológica, nos regalaron Mr. Giallo, Mr. Pink y Mr. Red, vuelven las noticias. Y comenzamos con un título que será presentado la semana que viene en la Game Developers Conference titulado This War of Mine, un shooter con cierto toque melodramático. Esta vez no se trata de manejar a la soldadesca. El juego va a ofrecernos una visión más humana, los civiles. Porque en la guerra no todos los participantes son soldados. Con este vídeo se presenta en sociedad. A ver si este juego se atreve a explicarnos que la guerra no es divertida, no como otros campos de batalla.

Rather than a military shooter, This War of Mine is a survival game in which players will control a group of civilians trapped in a besieged city and struggling to survive. During the day snipers watch your every move, so players will use the safety of the indoors to craft and upgrade their shelter, as well as feed and care for wounded members of the group. Under the cover of darkness players can venture out into the war torn city to scavenge for supplies like food, medicine, and weapons. Players will also be tasked with making tough moral choices about whether to try and protect their whole group or sacrifice members for the good of the whole.
