Después del fiasco de las últimas entregas de esta aclamada (e histórica) serie o franquicia, Atari vuelve a la carga con este Alone in the Dark: Illumination, un FPS con multijugador cooperativo. Y mira que sería un momento estupendo para revedecer laureles, los juegos de tensión y terror con linternas están y estarán de moda durante mucho tiempo… veremos a ver que sale de este Alone in the Dark: Illumination, cuyo lanzamiento se producirá a finales de año. Coincidiendo con este vídeo aparecido con motivo de la celebración de la feria PAX, Atari ha publicado alguna de las características del juego.

The new PC edition, Alone in the Dark: Illumination, takes the survival horror genre to the next level with new features, including the power of illumination and a cooperative multiplayer mode. To survive, players must fight through challenging missions and dynamic environments filled with blood-thirsty beasts in order to rid an abandoned town of its mysterious curse of Darkness, and free fellow playable hero characters including the Hunter, Witch, Engineer and Priest – each armed with a unique set of special abilities and weapons.
